Mission

Ensuring, efficient and effective financial management by advocating and strengthening the accepted financial standards, in relation to the financial resources allocated to facilitate the achievement of overall objectives of the Ministry of Provincial Councils and Local Government.

KEY FUNCTIONS

Ensuring availability of resources required for the implementation of activities of the Ministry.

Ensuring the effective and efficient utilization of the financial resources.

Maintaining proper accounting system in order to satisfy the needs of all agencies.

Ensuring the timely release of funds to Provincial Councils and coordinating the financial activities.

Provision of financial resources to foreign funded projects being implemented in sub-national level under the
execution of the Ministry, in order to implement the project within the time schedule.
